Details about this class
This course does not require real-time interaction; it is asynchronous. I assign modules on a weekly basis according to the posted Course Schedule. Even so, with the exception of discussion forums and mini-quizzes, course materials (including homework assignments) can be accessed anytime. You are welcome to work ahead if you want. Most of my online lectures will come to you via Voicethread (multimedia). Occasionally, I posted text-based notes or Powerpoint slides.
To meet attendance requirements, please log-in to the course several times a week at convenient times for you.
I am flexible about homework assignment due dates; I "get it" that you have a life and responsibilities outside this class.
I'm here to help you. You can even text message me if you need a quick, short response to a question.
Technology
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
