Details about this class
This class will be a completely asynchronous class, meaning we will have no scheduled face-to-face or Zoom meetings. That being said, I'd love to meet with you all on zoom during the first two weeks of class. I find it's much easier to reach out when you need support later in the term if we feel like we know each other a bit. Send me an email so we can find a time that works for you!
We will be using Lumen Waymaker "Introduction to Psychology" as our textbook, and this is pre-loaded in our D2L course shell, so there is nothing additional you need to do. This resource is automatically included in your registration fee for the course -- nothing more to purchase!
I am always happy to answer any questions you might have. If it is something course related or that you think others might have questions about, the best place to do this is in the student questions section of the discussions page, that way EVERYONE can see my response. If it is something of a more personal or specific to you nature, feel free to email me through our class list or schedule time during my office hours. The level of communication is high; I send out regular reminders/updates, and I respond to student emails 7 days a week. As long as you stay connected and keep up, you'll do great!
PLEASE NOTE - SUMMER CLASSES COVER THE SAME AMOUNT OF MATERIAL IN 8 WEEKS AS A REGULAR CLASS COVERS IN 11 WEEKS, SO SOME WEEKS WILL HAVE AN EXTRA ASSIGNMENT OR DISCUSSION INCLUDED.
Technology
