Please sign up for this class only if you can commit to attending regularly, as we will be doing class notes, group activities, labs, projects, quizzes, interactive discussions, and a final exam. I am excited to work with all of you and look forward to a great session together!

Classes will be held remotely via Zoom during the times listed in the schedule. However, exams will need to be taken face-to-face at the Rock Creek Campus.

You will need the following to participate:

• Reliable internet to attend class via Zoom, access course materials in D2L, and complete online assignments

• The ability to scan written documents to PDF format using a scanner or scanning app

• A scientific calculator

• The Desmos Online calculator for statistical calculations

• A printer may be required to complete homework and other graded assignments

• Proctored quizzes will be taken at the start of each class after Week 1, lasting 30 minutes. Please ensure you meet all the necessary technology requirements.

• A video presentation of your project will be due during finals week

• We will have interactive lab work and group discussions to reinforce the material we cover in class.

• Homework is completed in My Open Math (MOM).

Please note the exam dates and plan your schedule accordingly:

• Aug 25 - Final Exam: Proctored via Zoom from 8 am - 10 am

Keep in mind, missed labs and group activities cannot be made up. Thanks for your understanding!
