Explores the history of the ancient world from the earliest agricultural societies through 1000 CE. Includes historical topics drawn from among the ancient histories of Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East focusing on interactions between peoples, states, and cultures. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
