This is a class which requires attendance twice a week [on line].
Students who miss the first week will be dropped for "no show".
The textbook is a workbook so it requires guidance (by me) for students to understand the new material.
I encourage questions both in class and out.
Quizzes and technology assignments are through D2L but Exams are in-class unless a testing center exam is requested.
Otherwise in-class activity is open and safe.
Feel free to say stupid things ( I do ).
This is the spirit of learning.

You need the aleks software to do homework. This is necessary to pass the course.

The cheapest way is to buy a used copy from the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Bookstore w/aleks ( $88.05 )

The second cheapest way is to buy the aleks software from www.aleks.com ( $ 100 about ).

There is an eBook in the software.

Do not buy the book online (except through the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Bookstore) unless you are certain that it contains an access code.

If you buy the software through www.aleks.com then wait until March 30th because it is only good for 11 -weeks and this is a 10-week course.

Microsoft Excel is required.
