Spanish Conversation: Level 3
This continuing class offers a third level of basic Spanish conversation and understanding. Increase your vocabulary and confidence with ease; lay the groundwork for future fluency.
The Level 3 class allows students who have taken Levels 1 and 2 an extra term of study before progressing to the next textbook. If you feel comfortable with all of the topics covered in the Level 1-2 textbook, we recommend that you skip to Level 4. There will be some reading and writing in this class. However, this is a conversation class, so our main focus will be on speaking, listening, and culture. Course content varies depending on the instructor and students. Generally, the following topics are covered in this level: REVIEW: Levels 1-2 SYNTAX (how sentences are formed): direct object pronouns; indirect object pronouns; reflexive pronouns; VERBS: more irregular verbs; preterite (regular and irregular);commands (familiar and formal); reflexive; conocer vs/ saber;VOCABULARY: false cognates; idioms; varies
