Details about this class

This is a survey class which covers a wide range of topics in astronomy. Much of it is physics based and includes a great deal of math (measurements, graphs, algebra, problem solving).

Technology

Students must have the ability to either download a pdf or image file, write on it, and upload it to an assignment box OR have the ability to edit and draw on such a file, save it, and upload it to an assignment box.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
