Welcome to ESOL 163 - Grammar 2!
This class is completely online - you can access our course website on D2L 24 hours a day. Typically assignments are due once a week, on Monday, but in the first week you will need to log in and complete an assignment by THURSDAY. There is no book required.
In this course we will cover the identification and practice of the following grammatical structures: subject verb agreement, verb tenses, passive voice, articles, gerunds, and infinitives. Reinforces concepts in both oral and written contexts. This elective class does not replace courses in the core curriculum.
Most students who take this course are in ESOL Levels 6 or 7, or have taken ESOL 153 Grammar 1. If you have any questions about whether this course is appropriate for you, please email Kenya Zappa, kenya.zappa@pcc.edu
Technology
You will need a computer or tablet and internet access. A phone is possible, but it will be harder to navigate. You can use 不良研究所 library computers for access as well.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
