Details about this class

This course has a team project. Students will need to be able to find a few times to meet online with their teammates during weeks 4-8 of the term. All information about the team project will be provided once the course starts.

Technology

This course utilizes cloud-based labs from  that require a web browser and an internet connection to access. The labs can be purchased from the 不良研究所 bookstore or directly from Infosec Learning.

In addition to the textbook and virtual labs, the following are required:

  • Microsoft Office or equivalent (Google Docs, OpenOffice, etc.)
  • Further software may be required for specific labs, and any installation / use instructions will be given in the lab. Students are welcome to uninstall the software after use.
  • Microphone for online meetings or appointments (webcam optional)

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
