Details about this class

There is one required book for this course: CCNA 200-301 Portable Command Guide (5th Edition) by Scott Thompson, published by Cisco Press (ISBN: 9780135937822). This is a reference guide, not a traditional textbook. It will be a valuable resource to help you quickly find the Cisco commands you'll need throughout the course.

Technology

You will need the latest version of Cisco Packet Tracer for labs, which will be provided to you for free through your Cisco NetAcad account. Setup will take place during the first week of class. You’ll also need Wireshark, a free and open-source network packet analyzer.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
